You’ve probably heard this one before but here it is again anyway. What happens to things you lose? You find them again! Most people don’t actually want to hear this but diets don’t work. We want to be told there’s a silver bullet and it only costs $19.95 per week or month to obtain it.
It would be easier for me to lie to you and sell you such a product or diet plan. I could! In fact I’ve been told to do just that. But I know it would only give you short term results and eventually you’d gain the weight back again. So, I tell you the truth and hope it’s a light bulb moment for even one person...
Over my years of working with clients and my own horrid experiences with dieting and over exercising, the biggest thing I’ve learnt is this: the harder you try to lose fat the harder it IS to lose fat (you might need to read that a few times over).
Confusingly, this usually isn’t true for the first diet. That very first one works a treat and lures us in. But watch out if you let your guard down and slip up because KA POW! That fat will find you again quick smart to take up residence on your ass, bringing some of its buddies along to join the party. And the fat party just gets bigger and bigger every time we go through this yo-yo cycle.

You focus on the things you DO want to attract: better health, a stronger body, increased flexibility, look better naked, improved fitness. Positive things like that will make the difference in your attitude and your stress levels and help you make better choices for life. That’s how!
How much extra fat we're storing isn't determined by one meal or one period of dieting. It's made up of all our food and exercise choices, made over a long period. In other words, do you want to look hot for one month and then crap for the next year after? Or do you want to look and feel great all the time, for ever. I've chosen the latter and I'm 100% happier for it.
